In Loving Memory of Suzanne Decina
On September 18, 2018, heaven got an angel. Our dearest friend and longtime Board member, Suzanne (Sue) Decina, passed away from a long battle with breast cancer. She is survived by her husband and three children, two sisters, her brother and her mother.
Sue was an extraordinary person and touched the lives of so many people through her kindness, love, and generosity. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Sue and her husband, Dave, have been an integral part of Hailey’s Hope Foundation since its inception in 2007. Based on their personal experiences in the NICU with their daughters, nieces and nephews, they wanted to help other families get through their difficult NICU journeys.
Since 2007, Sue and Dave have been devoted members of Hailey’s Hope Foundation, raising money and awareness of the needs of families with babies in the NICU. Sue served as a member of the Board of Directors from 2007-2018.
Sue will live in our hearts forever!
